1. Offering a five-race series:
   
   • 1^st Race is 100 miles
   • 2^nd Race is 125 miles
   • 3^rd Race is 174 miles
   • 4^th Race is 247 miles
   • 5^th Race is 347 miles
2. The Perch Fee is $100 per bird, 6 birds for $500, or 13 birds for $1,000.
3. Accepting birds from February 20^th to May 30^th.
4. Replacement birds from May 15^th to May 30^th
5. The loft capacity is 500 birds.
6. Activation fee is $250 per bird.
7. The activation fee is due after the 100 Miles Activation Training.
8. All birds on the team must be activated.
9. 20% of entry fees will be held for race expenses.
10. After the 100 miles, we will contact each breeder to let them know about the limit of 10 days of Activation.
11. The activation fees will be refunded if the bird does not make it to the 150 Mile Race.
12. If birds are not activated within the 10-day activation period, they will become property of Kankakee Perch OLR and can be sold to other breeders
13. All birds will be vaccinated with PMV and dewormed internally and externally as they enter during 15 days (minimum) before crossing the adapting area.
14. Ship your birds the healthiest as you can, and between Mondays and Tuesdays, so the birds can arrive between Wednesday and Friday.
15. Make sure to write your full name, phone number, and address clearly on the mailing box.
16. Payment of perch fee needs to arrive with the bird (non-refundable). This is used for bird care in general.
17. Each breeder can send 1 extra bird as a replacement. If your bird makes it all the way through the activation process, you will have to pay the perch and activation fee for a replacement bird, and the bird will be added to your team.
18. All birds will have their 9^th and 10^th flight pulled.
19. The Dark System will be used.
20. Races will be held between September and October.
21. Last race prizes are paid by the first drop, then clocking order.
22. We will be racing according to weather, meaning if the weather is not good, we will move the race for when the weather permits. Examples: too windy, foggy, rainy, etc.
23. All birds on the race will be motivated the same way as I am every day in regular training.
24. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to enter our race and are responsible for their tax duties.
25. W-9 forms will need to be completed if winnings are $600 or more.
